We hope you are having a wonderful week! As we approach our big All-City Band Concert on Tuesday, we have important updates regarding our fundraising progress, concert logistics, and a great opportunity to clear out your closets while supporting the band.
Here is everything you need to know for the coming days:
Fundraising Update: We Unlocked the Match!
We have officially unlocked the entire $1,650 Modern Woodmen match! This means every gift so far has been doubled. You are absolutely incredible!
- Current Status: We are at $3,400 (85% of the way there).
- The Goal: We need just $600 more to hit our $4,000 goal.
Please help us cross the finish line today! You can text the link to grandparents or share it one last time on Facebook. Let’s make this final sprint count.

All-City Band Concert Logistics (Tuesday, Dec 9)
We are excited to showcase the transformation from beginning band all the way through high school possibilities!
- When: Tuesday, December 9, 2025
- Where: Hayes High School Gymnasium
- Concert Start Time: 7 p.m.
Ticket Information: Please ask your student for their tickets today!
- All students were given 3 Christmas Green tickets.
- Note: If you have multiple children in the program, the tickets were given to the oldest sibling.
- If you need an extra ticket, please email a director and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Student Report Times:
- Hayes Bands: 6 p.m.
- Dempsey Bands: 6:30 p.m.
Uniform Reminder: Students should be in the concert uniforms stated in the handbook.
- Dempsey Students: Black polo, black pants/skirts, black socks/hose, and black dress shoes.
- If there is a financial concern regarding uniforms, please let us know ASAP.
Livestream: Links for the program and the LIVE stream will be sent out on Monday. Please remember that due to copyright laws, we cannot record or distribute this event ourselves.
“Stuff the Truck” Event
The Cadence Club is partnering with Volunteers of America (VOA) to collect donated goods right before the concert! The VOA weighs the donations and writes a check to the band program based on the total weight collected.
This is the perfect time to clean out your house before the holidays!
- When: Tuesday, December 9th (Night of the concert)
- Time: Donations accepted from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- Where: High School Parking Lot (Near the main entrance/office)
- What to Donate: VOA accepts most clothing, household goods, small electronics, and toys.
Simply pull up to the truck in the parking lot before you head inside for the concert.
