Mid-Week Update: October 22, 2026

Good morning,

A few reminders and updates I wanted to share with you before the weekend.

Seniors & Senior Families

This Friday is Senior Night! Please join us for dinner as our Cadence Club will be providing dinner for all of our Seniors and 2 guests. We will also be feeding any siblings currently in the band as well. Dinner will start at 5p in the High School Commons. 

Also, we’ve had an update from the athletic office that anyone wanting additional names announced during the senior recognition at the game, must have those names to me by Friday morning at 9a. Please provide any help in pronunciations if possible. If we do not have them before 9a Friday, they will not be announced at the game. 

No Post Show Friday

There will NOT be a post show on Friday after the football game. The visiting team does not have a Marching Band, so we will be performing our entire competition show during halftime. If you were planning to watch the post show, we encourage you to make it out for halftime! 

Competition Saturday

I also wanted to remind parents about the parking situation at Newark. Again, there is no spectator parking at the stadium. All spectators are expected to park at Newark High school and take the shuttle to the stadium. Please see the attached link with details and information about the competition. We are looking forward to our last competition before State MB Finals. We hope you can come and support our students!
