Good evening,
I appreciate everyone’s flexibility in dealing with today’s change to rehearsal. While it wasn’t ideal, our students handled it with grace and ease. Tomorrow is looking to be another hot day. The plan as it stands is to still have rehearsal. We will keep an eye on the weather and we will make sure to better communicate with parents and students before the end of the school day if there is a change.

Football Game Friday
Friday’s Football Game will be at Thomas Worthington. Students will be staying after school that day. Due to the expected heat and humidity, we will be wearing our summer uniforms (Orange Show Shirt, All Black Shorts, Black Socks, and Black Marching Band shoes. Color Guard, please have the proper attire needed for your performance.)
Because we are planning to rehearse after school, I would not wear your show shirt to school. Please have a change of clothing for rehearsal after school. Students will be given time to change before we eat/load the bus for the game.
Next Week
Next week is our first competition. We will not have rehearsal on Monday because of the Labor Day holiday. It is VERY important that students are in full attendance at Wednesday and Thursday practices so we can make final adjustments and set everyone up to shine on Saturday. If students have meetings or appointments on those days, please try to reschedule them for another time. If you have concerns, please reach out to Mr. Fowles.
