June Cadence Club Updates
Good Afternoon Band Families!
My name is Ashley Hejmanowski, I am the president of Cadence Club this year. Cadence Club is dedicated to supporting all band students in the Delaware City Schools, but in the summer and fall, much of our activity is focused on the Hayes Marching Band. Running a successful marching band season takes a village! This link will take you to a brief survey about various roles you might be interested in volunteering for; we welcome your involvement in whatever capacity is comfortable for you. Even if you are unable to volunteer with Cadence Club this fall, please fill out the survey, especially the last few questions, so we have the most complete email list possible.
Thanks to everyone who assisted with our Car Wash on Saturday, June 10th! Our dedicated group of students and parents raised more than $1100, which will go towards the upcoming Disney trip. We have 2 more car washes scheduled this summer, on July 8th and August 12th and both those events will have a food truck in attendance as well.
We are already looking ahead to the 4th of July parade! The parade time recently changed and will now step off from the fairgrounds at 11:00 am. We will need some parents to walk with the band and help keep the students hydrated. You can access the SignUp Genius HERE
We keep records of past emails and links on our website, pacerbands.org, as well as information about fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and explanations of what we do.
Our next meeting was scheduled to be on Tuesday, July 4th, and we have shifted it to Thursday, July 6th. We will meet in the Hayes band room.
