VP1 Report: Jasmin Senecal
- Do not enjoy working with “Frankencart” for the cymbals – difficult to maneuver
- No problem getting people to sign-up to volunteer
- One wheel needs to be fixed on one of the instruments – shown to Charles
- Requesting sign-ups for Horse Parade & small bottles of water
- Can potentially set-up a tent at the ½ way point
VP2 Report: Monica Logsdon
- Aug 24 5-9 p.m. at Ciao – made $200!
- Sep 12 4-9 p.m. at Payne’s – get percentage from all sales
- Sep 19-30 sell Der Dutchman pies (no late orders) – will send to Middle School as well!
- Increase the pie prices by $2-$3
- Pies will be baked – ready to eat or freeze
- Pick up Oct 17 at Noon; need to have a check to pay Der Dutchman

- November 1 Fundraiser – coffee!
- Homestretch Apparel – making the show shirts
- Hope to have the shirts available for the students next week
- Will make between $400-$500!
- Possible Fundraiser – Night at the Races
- Old reels of horse races; People gamble on the horses to win; 50/50 raffles; Right location can serve alcohol
- Possible Fundraiser – Junior Band Camp
- Pay to have the young kids (4th & 5th grade) come and experience instruments & guard
- Charge/give a T-shirt; Host early in June; One day were instruments, one day guard, one day mini show
- Possible Fundraiser – using Horseshoe Stencil – research purchasing a stencil made of flexible plastic (2 pieces)
- Paint in driveway ($20)

- Senior Spot Light – Posted 9 spot lights on Facebook; have received 12 submissionst
Dempsey Rep: Don’t have a Dempsey Rep at the moment
Committee Reports
Food Committee: Sarah Mickovsky
- Away games – bring jugs for water; bring extra cups
- Need to plan for the Dempsey night
Spirit Committee: Jessica Stewart (not present)
- Halloween Party – Oct 29 at Lehner’s – may have money/food left over
- Smores Bar & Hotdogs; will be a small Entry fee; have two fire pits
Uniforms: Angi DeLong (not present)
- Would like gallon size bags & a hole punch; could potentially use fruit bags? To hold the gauntlets

- Show is progressing well; start learning movement 3 tomorrow; will not include in first competition
- Horse Parade this Sunday
- Fair performance coming up (during school)
- First competition at Licking Heights
- Need to request payment for uniform fees – 60% paid (23 people have not paid)
- Trips – meeting w/Colleen Rush – possibly another Ireland Trip (2025)
- Possibly a Chicago Trip in 2024; possibly a trip to Disney?
- Reminder for wearing uniforms – hair must be UP!!!

- Dempsey night will be October 7 and will be for the 8th graders (45) to perform and 7th to attend game as guests.
- Have been very encouraged by how well the kids are playing
- Looking at potentially a different fundraiser – possibly a calendar fundraiser
Old Business
- Will put together a Freshmen Newsletter soon – all information is on the website, but it isn’t live
- Will publish a newsletter next year
- Planning to do Tag Day this year – Teams of 4-5 students w/an adult go door to door
- Recommend using a QR Code to allow people to “pay on-line” via PayPal
- Provide the car & little flyers to leave if someone is not home
- Already made – how many do we want? Talk w/UPS store (may donate)
- Tentative DATE: October 15 – Mr. Fowles will begin communication to students

- Melodies & Marinara – spaghetti dinner major fundraiser – need to have to help our account
- Have a parent that is willing to chair
- Need to get food donations – possibly Kroger
- Need people that would be willing to cook

- Older neighborhood residents would like to come to see the show, not during a football game
- Mr. Fowles will check to see if there is a night that people could come; include Grandparents in the communication
New Business
- School bond is up for renewal; would like someone from Cadence Club to attend a Bond Renewal Meeting
