VP2 Report: Monica Logsdon
- Aug. 24 from 5-9 p.m. at Ciao – need a flyer – get percentage from all sales
- Sep. 12 from 4-9 p.m. at Payne’s – get percentage from all sales
- Sep, 19-30 sell Der Dutchman pies – increase the pie prices by $2-3
- Pick up Oct. 17 at Noon; need to have a check to pay Der Dutchman
- I Heart Homemade Signs – nothing on the website – no longer exist?
- Erica H. has a friend that will still do the cups
- Homestretch Apparel – can handle the show shirts
- Josh has a design prepped – echo of the Magical Mystery Tour Album
- Every group is represented; consider adding a Guard person
- Need to get sponsor information out and give two weeks to reply

- Will be at the Dempsey fitting to help
Food Committee: Sarah Mickovsky
- Band Camp – only four nights
- Questions about Dempsey Night & Senior Night
- Snacks at Home games for our band and visiting band

- May bring snacks for Away Games – not sure
- Allergies? – three vegetarians, one no chocolate, one peanut (highly allergic)

- Marching Band is off to a good start. We have some performances coming up:

- 9/11 – Horse Parade – 3 p.m.
- 9/16 – FB Game vs. Westerville North
- 9/17 – Licking Heights Competition
- 9/20 – Fair Performance (during school day)
- 9/23 – FB Game @ Worthington Kilbourne
- 9/30 – FB Game vs. Westerville South
- We will be kicking off our Century Resources Fundraiser today that will go through Sep. 6.
- Uniforms have returned from Dry Cleaning! Looking forward to being in those this week!
- Thanks to all the wonderful parents who have helped me during this transition and guided me to your ways! I greatly appreciate all the help!
- Marching Band is off to a good start. We have some performances coming up:
- Alan Notestine:
- Dempsey Current numbers: 8th – 45; 7th – 62; 6th – 110 signed up
- Dempsey night will be October 7 and will be for the 8th graders to perform and 7th to attend game as guests.
- Dempsey Music department is currently doing a fundraiser with Crowne Excellence selling Cookie Dough and chocolates. There is an online option that if customers want to use credit card, they can access a larger variety of products and catalogues.
Spirit Committee: Jessica Stewart
- Sent a list of people interested in helping with the Spirit Committee
- Dance from 8-10 p.m. in the Commons – neon & glow in the dark
- Will send a Sign-up Genius to help set-up at 6p
- Halloween Party – Oct 29 at Lehner’s – may have money/food left over
- Smores Bar & Hotdogs; will be a small Entry fee; have two fire pits
- Mini Posters – minimal supplies needed
- Meet on Mon (8), Tues (9) & Thurs (11) during practice for Post Band Camp
- Post in the Band Room & again during the Banquet

Uniforms: Angi DeLong
- Fitted 93 kids – everyone is dressed
- Using gauntlets this year
- Jackets are going out on Aug. 10 to get cleaned
- New plumes are coming in
- Thank you for all who helped during fittings
- Two seniors missed Senior Banners – contact photographer through Facebook
- Have eight guard raincoats – need to confirm sizes – they would like 12 total
- Need to order four more
- Anyone would like to donate cans of spray deodorant – that would be great (to help keep the uniforms cleaner/smell free)
Old Business:
- Summer Uniforms – There is a list of who has paid, and who has not
- Shoes can also be ordered directly
- Same place that Summer Uniforms were ordered from – can also order Spirit Wear
- Will also be selling the Show Shirts here soon
- Will put together a Freshmen Newsletter soon
- We have two banners for parades – one with grommets & one without – they are new!!
- OWU Showcase Event was canceled – trying to get a competition scheduled that day
- Planning to do Tag Day this year – Teams of four-five students w/an adult go door to door
- Recommend using a QR Code to allow people to “pay on-line” via PayPal
- Provide for the car & little flyers to leave if someone is not home
- Tentative DATE: October 1 – will talk w/Mr. Fowles to make sure the date is OK

- Pay to have the young kids (4th & 5th grade) come and experience instruments & guard
